In connection with the incident, it is said that two employees of Bharat Finance Company operating in Tajpur were going on their bikes to deposit cash of about 8 lakh rupees in Union Bank of Tajpur city itself.
At the same time, 3 criminals who came by bike outside Union Bank stopped the bike of the employees by overtaking and robbed the bag full of money at the gunpoint and fled from the spot.
The employees informed the police about the incident. After which the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
The police was informed that the money from the collection in Bharat Finance Company is deposited in the Tajpur branch of Union Bank itself.
The criminals did recce beforehand and then carried out this big incident of robbery. A truck was also parked at the place where the robbery took place, due to which the robbery could not be captured in the CCTV camera installed in the bank.
