Muzaffarpur: More than 12 districts of Bihar are in the grip of floods. Relief work is being run by the government everywhere. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked the officials to take special care of the disaster victims.
Here, the ministers are also constantly visiting the flood-affected districts and taking information regarding relief work. In this sequence, Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi reached Muzaffarpur on Saturday.

He held a review meeting related to flood relief work with the officials at the Circuit House of Muzaffarpur district, which is facing the wrath of floods.
District Magistrate Pranav Kumar, ADM, SDO East and West were present in the meeting.
Talking to the administrative officers, the Deputy Chief Minister enquired about the relief work being carried out in the district regarding floods.

After the meeting, he interacted with the journalists. During this, on a question from journalists, he said that Nepal is responsible for the floods in Bihar.

The geographical structure of our state is such that all the water of Nepal comes here, then because of that, we have to face problems.
On the question of why the problem is not resolved, he said, “Things are already going on. But this matter is not inter-state but international.
Talks are already going on to build the dam. But till now the matter is not settled.” Once the matter is finalized, the dam will be built.”
