In two separate incidents, miscreants shot and killed two people. The first incident is of Koch in the Gaya district. Here the miscreants killed a person.
The deceased has been identified as Mrityunjay Das (35), a resident of Konch Panchayat. The cause of the incident is said to be the rivalry of the Panchayat elections.

The second incident is of Magadha Medical College police station area of Gaya district. Here the youth Raja Vishwakarma was shot dead near Kendua village late in the night.
