Liquor being sent from Rohtak to Darbhanga seized in Kaimur

Consignment of foreign liquor being sent from Rohtak to Darbhanga in Bihar seized in Kaimur, four arrested for smuggling

On Thursday night, 2200 litres of liquor was recovered from a truck at the check post of the check post near Akodhi village of the police station area. The police arrested the driver.

The truck was going from Rohtak to Darbhanga carrying liquor. At the same time, Mohaniyathana police recovered 110 litres of liquor from a car. Three people in the car were arrested.

They were going to Muzaffarpur by a car carrying liquor from UP.

Mohanian DSP Raghunath Singh said that a check post has been set up at the consolidated check post to nab the liquor traders.

Where the Prohibition Department and Anti Liquor Task Force are conducting a thorough investigation of vehicles coming from UP.

On Thursday night, Police Inspector Devvrat Kumar of Prohibition Department and Rajiv Kumar Yadav of Anti Liquor Task Force were checking vehicles along with the police force.

During this, a truck coming from UP (UP 80 OT 4344) was stopped and searched and 170 boxes of liquor were laden in it.

The total amount of alcohol was 1522 litres. Truck driver Ajmer Singh (28) father of Randhir Singh village and police station Bahadurgarh district Jhajjar Haryana was arrested.

An FIR has been lodged against the driver at Mohania police station. On the other hand, a vehicle checking campaign was conducted on Thursday under the leadership of Mohaniya’s police station chief Lalan Kumar.

In which 110 litres of liquor was recovered from a Maruti Suzuki car.

Three people in the car were arrested.

In which the name of Sudhakar father Vashisht Gupta village Chotkari Seria, police station Basdih, district Ballia Upi, Vipin Kumar father Gulinder Sahni village Ajitpur Kodhi, police station Saraiya police station Saraiya and Chandan Kumar father Gena Das, village Bahilwara police station Saraiya district Muzaffarpur Bihar are included.

The liquor car accused arrested after confiscating the vehicles were sent to Bhabua jail on Friday.
