Lal Ravi of Nawada, who killed the terrorists, got a grand welcome
Lal Ravi Kumar alias Raja of Nawada, who accomplished the valiant act of killing two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists hiding in a house in Khojpura village in Shopian, Srinagar, was accorded a grand welcome on the land of Nawada.
Ravi was honoured on his return home from Delhi after receiving the honour from the DG of CRPF for this outstanding gallantry.
CRPF constable Ravi Kumar alias Raja, resident of Prasadbigha in Nawada city had killed two notorious terrorists during an encounter on 9 March 2020.
Ravi, who has been honoured at the departmental level by the DG of CRPF, will very soon be awarded the Police Medal of Gallantry at the hands of the President.
On this achievement of Ravi and his heroic work, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers welcomed and honoured him.

On Friday, as he landed at Nawada station, under the leadership of VHP’s district co-minister Subodh Lal, the former district convener of Bajrang Dal Jitendra Pratap Jitu, Bajrang Dal district security chief Diwakar Singh, Vinay Bhai Thackeray, city coordinator Chandan Bhagat, social worker Manish Sinha, Vijay Hundreds of Bajrang Dal workers, including Pandey, showered him with flowers and garlands and gave a rousing welcome to Ravi.
Received from Nawada railway station, he was taken to his home, Prasad Bigha, amid hoisting the tricolour flag.
In the meantime, the workers of Bajrang Dal kept chanting Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram.
On reaching Ravi’s house, his father Suresh Prasad Yadav and his mother Kunti Devi and elder brother Bablu Kumar Rai doubled the happiness by distributing Jalebi among all the people.
Ravi’s indomitable courage and bravery are being discussed across the district and the people of the district are happy.
