Middle-aged father-in-law strangled to death in Sitamarhi

A woman allegedly strangled her middle-aged father-in-law to death in the Sitamarhi OP area of ​​Nawada district. The incident is said to have happened in Gandhi Nagar village of Sitamarhi OP area on Friday afternoon.

On being informed about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the daughter-in-law into custody. The deceased 55-year-old Zahuri Yadav was a resident of Gandhi Nagar village.

Badu was the son of Yadav. The daughter-in-law and father-in-law were present at the house at the time of the incident. The wife of the deceased had gone out of the house to collect grass.

While the son of the deceased, Munna Yadav works as a labourer in a private company in Tamil Nadu and is said to be working there at the time of the incident.

Sitamarhi OP Shishupal said that on receiving information about the incident, the police reached the village and the body of Zahuri Yadav was recovered from the house.

The OP said that prima facie the matter of strangulation is coming to the fore. The daughter-in-law has been taken into custody from the security point of view.

He is under interrogation. The incident has been informed to the son of the deceased over the phone.

There was no cordial relationship between the two

It is said that there was no cordial relationship between daughter-in-law and father-in-law.

The son used to work in Tamil Nadu. Apart from daughter-in-law and father-in-law, two small children of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law lived at home.

The police have sent the body to Nawada for post-mortem. At present, the police are investigating all the points. The OP said that the cause of the murder would be revealed in the post-mortem report.
