According to police officials, he was on the run for almost 18 years. The police of Rohtas and Kaimur, including UP, Jharkhand, were looking for the arrested Naxalites in many cases.

At the same time, the police have also recovered a country-made pistol from the Naxalites.

Cases are registered in this case in Chutia, Nowhatta, Indrapuri and Robertsganj. His arrest will lower the morale of the Naxalites. He is also wanted in many cases related to Naxalite attacks in Uttar Pradesh.
