On Wednesday, DM Avnish Kumar Singh held a meeting with all the BDOs of Jamui district, the health department officials including the mentors of all the blocks in the dialogue room located in the collectorate.

In the meeting, the DM expressed happiness for the success of the mega vaccination drive held on Tuesday.

DM gave many important tips for capacity building of all the officers present and all the officials did the work of boosting the morale of themselves and their colleagues by clapping for each other.

In the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner Arif Ahsan, Civil Surgeon, DCLR, DTO, DPRO, DPM Health Department, Mentor of the Block and Block Development Officers of the Blocks of the District were present.

Due to continuous testing, monitoring and vaccination of corona infection in Jamui district, the graph of corona (covid-19) infection has now come down to zero. DM Avnish Kumar Singh said that the person with one active case till yesterday has also become healthy, due to which the number of corona active cases in the district has come down to zero.

The District Magistrate appealed to the residents that even now there is a need to follow the instructions issued by the State Health Committee, Bihar and the district administration to prevent corona infection. He said that the infection of coronavirus is now completely over in the district and to maintain it, it is mandatory to practice masks regularly, follow social distancing and get vaccinated.

He said that after completely eradicating the infection of coronavirus in Jamui district, awareness campaigns are being run continuously in Jamui district.

In this sequence, all the Block Development Officers have been instructed to do frequent mask checking in the respective blocks to ensure compliance with the norms of covid-19 to prevent the infection of covid-19 from the people.

He said that in Jamui district from last August 16, the work of covid-19 vaccination is being carried out in all the wards of Jamui Municipal Council area and Nagar Panchayat Jhajha with monitoring, in which all persons above 18 years of age should be given corona vaccine.

The proper arrangement has been made.

He appealed to the residents of the district that if the district is to be maintained as a corona free district, then vaccination must be done to prevent coronavirus, wear masks regularly and follow social distancing.
